Had my first Marine Corps Ball
November 4th. Its a whole week before the actual birthday but it was still a lot of fun. Our guest of honor was a Dr. Sid Phillips.  87 years old WW2 vet. He fought at Guadalcanal and he’s even had a conversation with Chesty Puller.  The thing that blew my mind the most is that his best man was Eugene “Sledgehammer” Sledge.
